Resin Conversion Set

Al early Focke Wulf Fw 190 had been equiped with two Fuselage 7,92 mm MG 17. With the Fw 190 A-5 production series the engine had been moved 15 cm forwards to get better mass centre because heavier weapon loads. With this modification also the MG 17 Gun-Cover had to be changed.

This conversion enables you to convert the REVELL Fw 190 A-8 into a Fw 190 A-5/A-6/A-7 with MG 17 gun cover (also HASEGAWA Fw 190 can be converted)

Conversion kit contains:

Resin Parts (incl late, profiled muzzle brake)

In the spring of 1944, the installation of various weapons for extendent use of the Fw 190 as an anti-tank aircraft was tested on behalf of the staff of the General der Jagdflieger.
The MK 103 in gondolas as underwing armament were considered promising at first and so various Fw 190s were equipped and tested with it.
An aerodynamic extended fairing installed later did not prevent the tests from being cancelled due to excessive vibrations when firing.

Possible to build a Focke Wulf Fw 190 A/F with machine gun late version with elongated cover. No decals necessary, as some aircraft were flown only with a Type B2 crosses on the fuselage.
