Resin Conversion Set

The Me 262 V-1 in stage 2 was fitted with a 6 foot / 2 Meter long air intake tube to simulate the long intake tube of the Me 1101 Fighter with the Heinkel Hirth HeS 011 engine.

In fact it was the Me 262 S-10 Wknr 130015 which was recaled to Me 262 V-1 after this original V-1 aircraft was lost. The radio call code was also renamed to the old radio call code of the orginal Me 262 V-1 (PC+UA).

After being commissioned in January 1944, the Me 262 V-9 WkNr 130004 was used as a testbed of various measuring probes (AM-6044 also available from Airmodel). From October 1944, she was equipped with a flat racing cabin and later with 40 ° degrees backwards swept horizontal stabilizers.

This conversion kit shows the first version of the HG 1 (Hochgeschwindigkeit = highspeed) Prototype. First test flights started at October 1944.

As a result of the researches with the Lippisch DM-1, the DFS led by Dr. Lippisch developed the gliding bomb
with ramjet propulsion „GB-3/L“. It stayed with a project because the performance ot the „Hagelkorn“ was much
better and it also couldn´t be mounted beneath a small aircraft like the Fw 190 because of ist vertical fin.
The project was canceled in 1944.

The SC 2500 was the heaviest German bomb in World War II. It could only be transported by a few aircraft f.e. Me 264 (2xSC2500), He 177 and He 111 H-16. The He 111 probably was the only aircraft from which this mine bomb was dropped and extensively tested. Unlike the SB 2500, however, the SC 2500 did not go beyond experimental stage. The SC 2500 should have been used against ship targets and large buildings.

In the spring of 1944, the installation of various weapons for extendent use of the Fw 190 as an anti-tank aircraft was tested on behalf of the staff of the General der Jagdflieger.
The MK 103 in gondolas as underwing armament were considered promising at first and so various Fw 190s were equipped and tested with it.

Possible to build a Focke Wulf Fw 190 A/F with MK 103 machine gun early version. No decals necessary, as some aircraft were flown only with a Type B2 crosses on the fuselage.
