At the beginning of the Second World War, the manoeuvrability of high-performance aircraft at that time already generated centrifugal forces that appeared to be unbearable for the human organism. Investigations showed that accelerations of 5 to 6 g for a duration of 3 to 4 seconds represented the maximum. The Aeronautical Engineering Group at the Technical University of Berlin, which had become known for designing several gliders, was commissioned to create a twin-engine test aircraft for a horizontal pilot. This design was given the type designation B 9 and was later included in the RLM list with the number 8-341.
The B 9 was completed in the spring of 1943 and then entered testing in August of that year. It was not until 1944 that the installation of Messerschmitt Me P2 variable pitch propellers was planned, which meant that intensive G-tests were no longer carried out.

with ramjet propulsion „GB-3/L“. It stayed with a project because the performance ot the „Hagelkorn“ was much
better and it also couldn´t be mounted beneath a small aircraft like the Fw 190 because of ist vertical fin.
The project was canceled in 1944.
