Airmodel AM-006 Messerschmitt
Me 163 C Maßstab 1/72

Zur Me 163 C existieren leider keine Originalfotos mehr. Aus den wenigen noch
existierenden Unterlagen geht hervor, daß es zumindest 2 Prototypen gab, die aus
bestehenden Me 163 B umgebaut wurden und auch geflogen sind.
Der Airmodel Bausatz ist von guter Qualität und aus ihm lässt sich recht
schnell ein anschauliches Modell bauen. |

Unfortunately there are no original photos available
from the ME 163 C. From the few still existing documents it follows that there
had been built and flewn at least 2 prototypes, which were converted from
existing ME 163 B.
The quality of the airmodel kit is good and one can easily build a realy nice
model in shortest time. |

Rechts: Die einzelnen Bauteile
wurden gemäß der üblichen Verfahrensweise bei Vakumodellen
ausgeschnitten und vorbereitet. In den Rumpf wurde das Cockpit eingepaßt.
Leider exisieren von der "C" Version nicht sehr viele Unterlagen, somit
muß ein Großteil der Einbauten und Details aufgrund von Spekulationen
erstellt werden. |

On the left side the original kit....
Right: The kitparts had been cut out and prepared like
it is usual for vaccumformed kits. I clued the cockpit into the right fuselage
halve. Unfortunately one can not find much references about the "C" Version,
that´s why most of the details I built are fictiv. |

Links: Da die "C" Version allerdings aus einer normalen verlängeren
Me 163 "B" entstanden ist, vermute ich, daß wesentliche Komponenten
übernommen wurden.
Rechts: Die Flügel habe ich für den Einbau des Cockpits getrennt. |

Left: Because he "C" Version had been developed and built out of
a "B" Version, I suggest that most of these components had been used from
the Me 163 "B" Version.

Das Seitenleiwerk wird mit einem Stück Plastikabfall stabilisiert.. |

Sicherheit nicht absolut korrekt, aber bis neuere Referenzen auftauchen
doch relativ stimmig?!? |

Mettalstiften hergestellt. |
